Meetings
Our Regular meetings:
Sunday morning service; Weekly worship service on Sunday at 11am in Douglas Community School. These times centre around worship in singing, giving, remembering Jesus’ perfect and finished work on the cross at the Lord’s table, and particularly setting aside time for regular teaching from God’s word, the Bible. There is a supervised creche for pre-school aged children. Most Sundays, there is also a special programme for children of primary school ages.
Youth club for ages 13-18; meeting fortnightly on Saturday evenings.
Home Groups: Groups of people meeting in homes for Bible study, prayer and fellowship; meeting fortnightly on Wednesdays at 8pm.
Weekly Bible Study: Thursday evenings at 8pm. Simply looking at God’s word and asking ourselves; “what does the Bible say?”. These studies are informal, discussion based times centred around the Scriptures and usually steadily working through a book of the Bible. This year; we are studying the book of Genesis.
Children’s Club: for ages 5-12 meeting fortnightly on Sundays from 4:30pm-6pm.
There are also Men’s and Ladies meetings that happen from time to time, including a regular Bible study for Ladies.
